Albert Ross Borror, 92, died August 17, 2017 at the well-lived age of 92. He was born a poor country boy in 1924 on a farm in Ringling, OK. He told many stories about being a barefoot country kid in 1920s America. Albert proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He remained in contact with his war buddies thru the years and outlived them all. Albert married Ruth Ellen Adkins in OKC on June 2, 1957. He was a generous man, always eager to help anyone in the family. He enjoyed pecan pie, fried chicken and anything at the Golden Corral. He loved to talk politics and was never one to shy away from a spirited debate. Albert was cheerful in all weathers with a great smile and a quick laugh. His last months were spent surrounded by everyone he loved. Albert was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Ruth. He is survived by his son, Rick Borror and wife Brenda; daughter, Robin Lindsey; step-son, Dwight Davis; grandchildren, Hollie & Luke Black, Patrick & Shianne Borror, Larry, Tyler, Brett and Danielle Lindsey, Barron Harris; and many great-grandchildren. Services will be Thursday, August 24, 1:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment following at the Hinton Cemetery. To share a memory or a condolence, please visit www.mercer-adams.com
