Bryant Lee Weasel,13, of Carmi, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born in Evansville on April 14, 2004 the son of Jason Ray and Amy Jo (Buchanan) Weasel. He was a 7th grader at Carmi White County Junior High School. Bryant was an active member of the Dravet Syndrome Foundation and 4 Paws for Ability in Xenia, OH.

Bryant is survived by his parents, Jason and Amy Weasel of Carmi; sister, Chantele Nicole Weasel of Carmi; grandparents, Randy and Kathy Buchanan of Carmi and Louise and Kenneth Weasel of Crossville; aunts and uncles, Chris (Amy) Buchanan of Carmi, Sheldon Weasel of Crossville, Shawna McGarth of Monroe, GA; cousins, Lane and Bailey Buchanan, Dustin Weasel and Natalie Babin; his nanny, Kelly (Mike) Erwin of Carmi; special aunts, Kara Gibbs of Pittsburgh, PA and Krystal (Nathan) Heck of Sparta, IL; his exceptional teacher and friend, Peggy Spencer; nurses aide, Betty Ritsch; and his service dog, Chugs.
