She was born on July 29, 1924, in New Britain, a daughter of the late Venezio and Laura (Piacentini) Taricani. Before her retirement she was employed by General Electric in Plainville. She was a member of Faith Living Church.
She is survived by her children, Maryann A. Adams and her husband, Jim, of Plantsville, Joseph P. Acca and his wife, Michele, of Farmington, Laura L. Bernosky and her husband, Harry, of Plainville, and Victor S. Acca and his wife, Mari, of Rocky Hill; her grandchildren Marissa, Emily, Brittany, Lindsay, Gianna, Louisa, Victoria and stepgrandchildren Shelley and Craig; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Nancy DiNello Williams, Angelina Fanizzie and Pauline Castro, and a brother, Domenic Taricani.
