Perritt, David Clinton A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and dear friend to so many. David passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in the early morning at his home in Erwinville at the age of 81, surrounded by his four daughters at his bedside. He was a native of Erwinville who retired from Big River Industries as a Supervisor, then he moved to Toledo Bend and resided there until 2014. He then moved back to Erwinville, where he was currently resided.

Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Wednesday, August 16th from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday at Erwinville Baptist Church, 4456 Poydras Bayou Road, Port Allen from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. Jimmy Womack. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

David is survived by his four daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda and Randy David of Zachary, Brenda Ross of Erwinville, Shelia and Kent Larpenter of Houma, Davina “Deanie” and Bert LaPrarie of Erwinville; three sisters, Alice Faye Fernandez of Belle Rose, Mary Perritt of Baton Rouge, Shirley Meyers of Gonzales; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Raymond and Evelina Perritt of Arkansas, Harold “Pete” and Jackie Perritt of TN, Julian and Angie Perritt of Zwolle, LA, Charlie Perritt of MS, George Lee Perritt of Toledo Bend, LA; one step-brother, Samuel Boyd Perritt Jr. of Florien, LA; ten grandchildren, Troy David, Miranda David Roberts, Kaci Bercegeay, Cody Ross, Jordon Ross, Brandy James, Heidi Zavala, Alexis Larpenter, Kent Larpenter, Jacob LaPrarie and Madison LaPrarie; and numerous great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Odgen Perritt; parents, Samuel Boyd and Hassie Plunkett Perritt; two sisters, Dorothy Sproles and Lucille Sutterfield; two brothers, Willis Perritt and Bennon Perritt.

Pallbearers will be Troy David, Jacob LaPrarie, Kent Larpenter, Jordan Ross, Will Roberts and George Leggett.

David enjoyed fishing at Toledo Bend and spending time with his family that he loved so very much.
