Linda J. Long, 65, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017. Linda was born in Fremont, Ohio on October 30, 1951 to David and Dorothy (Cherry) Ickes. She married the love of her life Joel Long on September 11, 1971. Linda loved country music, traveling, fishing, roses, and soap operas. What was most important to Linda was being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a kind soul and will be deeply missed

Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joel; daughters, Bristy Dwyer, Lowella Ridgley; grandchildren, Lindsay, Jose, Mathew, Kane, Jacob, Toby, Tye, Jaz, Aiden, Alyvia; great-grandchild, Marcus; and 6 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David, Arnold; and sister, Elizabeth.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 am. Memorials may be directed to American Heart Association.
