Mr. Bostic was born and reared at Whitmire, a son of Mrs. Clara Cowan Bostic and the late D.W. Bostic. He was a veteran of World War II and attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Bostic; one daughter, Miss Donna Bostic; one son, Tony Bostic of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Jimmy Feeny of Tacoma Park, Md., Mrs. Rion Poag of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. James Quinn of Greer, and Mrs. Lonnie Holland of Columbia; two brothers, William and Eddie Bostic of Whitmire, and his grandfather, Samuel Cowan of Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:40 p.m. Friday from the First Baptist Church of Whitmire by the Rev. Charles E. Hood. Burial will be in the Whitmire Cemetery.
