Survived by children:
W. F. Shawver of Quitman, Missouri
G. E. Shawver of Tarkio, Missouri
Mrs. John Yeater of Albany, Missouri
Mrs. Celsus Vance of Albany [sic], Missouri
NOTE: Headstone shows death date of 27 March 1936 but Brooks Funeral Home Records and Missouri Death Certificate 10097 states he died 28 March 1936 at 5:30 a.m.
Death certificate states he was born in Caldwell County, Virginia which I believe should be Tazewell County, Virginia.
Death Certificate says he died in Athens Township but funeral home records say he died in Albany, Missouri.
Informant on death certificate was daughter Mrs. Celsus Vance of McFall [sic], Missouri.
Death age on funeral home records and death certificate differ by 10 years.
All census records agree with 1857 birthdate so death certificate's year of 1847 is in error too.
