For the 5th time in the last eighteen months the Sullivan family on Prospect Ave, Peru, has been visited by death, the latest call Jerry Sullivan was found dead in bed by his daughter Gertrude. Mr. Sullivan passed away during the night while asleep, and according to an inquest conducted this morning by coroner Donoghue, apolexy was the cause.
The deceased had lived at 1117 Prospect Avenue. He was born in London England, sixty-nine years ago and resided in Peru for forty-five years. He worked as a driver for the Cahill Coal Co. for several years, but his last employment was that of barn boss for the Peru Beer Company.
He leaves two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Ben Evans, Joliet; Miss Gertrude. John and Michael, Peru.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning to St. Mary's church and thence to St. Vincent's cemetery.
The other deaths in the Sullivan Family were; Frank Sullivan March 17, 1914; Mrs. Henry Arnold, November 5, 1914; Mrs. Jerry Sullivan, January 9, 1915; Mrs. Frank Simms, March 17, 1915; They were children and wife of the deceased.
