Son of John "Jack" Samuel and Martha Ella "Ella" (David) Kinman. Served in military from 25 Jun 1918 to 19 Mar 1919. W.C. "Jack" Kinman married Margaret Florence Williams April 17, 1921. She died in 1971. He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Scott (Opal) Norman and Mrs. Paul (Vernie) Myrick, both of Albany, Missouri. Buried in Grandview East Cemetery next to his wife.

Marriage announcement in newspaper states W.C. "Jack" Kinman and Margaret Williams were married by Rev. Wm. B. Corder in St. Joseph, Mo. Bride was daughter of M/M J.S. Williams and had been a stenographer and clerk for W.P. Stapleton for a number of years. Groom was son of Mrs. Ella Kinman. He served in the World War. He was elected as City Marshal in 1920 and the past January was appointed Deputy Sheriff. They will make their home at the jail as Sheriff Dale Brown has not taken a wife to fill the position of housekeeper. (Albany Ledger April 21, 1921 ed.)
