Born on April 8, 1940 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Forbes and Pearl Riddle Forbes.
Mrs. Boyette attended Denton's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was the "queen bee" of shopping. Making people feel special was a talent that she was blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Michael McGee and grandson, Kenney Jollie.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Denton's Chapel United Methodist Church. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 15 in the church with Rev. Phillip Hefner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
