Ogden Standard-Examiner, Ogden, Utah, 4 Apr 1946. Obituary: TREMONTON--Mrs. Ruby Stout Sandall, 47, wife of Thomas Sandall, died Wednesday at eight-fifteen p. m., in the Valley hospital. Mrs. Sandall was born Feb. 2, 1899, at Hinckley, a daughter of Ohsea and Clearenda Langstron Stout. She was reared and educated at Hinckley, where she attended Millard county academy. She went to Salt Lake City in 1916 and entered the L. D. S. hospital training school, from which she graduated in 1919. She was married to Mr. Sandall on Nov. 23, 1921, in Salt Lake City. They had resided in Tremonton since. Previous, to her marriage Mrs. Sandall came to Tremonton in 1920, where she was superintendent of the old Merrill hospital. She had served as public health nurse, Tremonton district, for two years prior to her death. She was a member of the alumni, L. D. S. Nurses association. She was a member of the L. D. S. church, and served as president of the Primary association, Tremonton First ward, for three years. She was also active in the Relief society.
Surviving besides the husband are the following daughters: Mrs. Ella Udy and Elouise Sandall, Tremonton, and Mrs. Maurine Udy, Riverside: also one grandchild and the following brother and sisters: Mrs. Alice Walker, Bloomington, Calif.; Mrs. Mabel Sorenson, Murray; Mrs. Laura Haycock and Mrs. Abbie Ranck, Salt Lake City, and Francis Stout, Salt Lake City; also the following half brothers and sister: Delbert Wilford, and Clyde Stout, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Marcella Workman, Stockton, Utah; also a stepmother, Mrs. Martha Bradford, Salt Lake City. The body is at the funeral home in Tremonton. Ogden Standard-Examiner, Ogden, Utah, 5 Apr 1946.....Interment will be in the Riverview cemetery.
