Julian Oellig, 38, a former resident of Dixon, passed away Tuesday at the Rockford Municipal sanitarium. Surviving him are his widow, Bertha; two children, Harold and Karen; mother, Mrs. Dora Oellig of Dixon; two sisters, Mrs. Peter Phalen, Dixon, Mrs. Effie Walters, DeKalb; two brothers, Lloyd of Dixon and Russell of Rockford.

Julian Oellig

Services for Julian Oellig, 37, 531 Fisher avenue, who died yesterday morning in the municipal sanatorium, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jones funeral home, Dixon. Burial will be in Arlington cemetery there. [Note: Confirmed that he is not buried at Arlington Memorial Park in Rockford, IL.]

Mr. Oellig had been a patient at the sanatorium for the past year. He was a ember of Eagles lodge.

Surviving are his widow, Bertha; his mother, Mrs. Dora Oellig, both of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Phalen and Mrs. Effie Walters, DeKalb; two brothers, Lloyd, Dixon, and Russell, Rockford.

Services were arranged at the McAllister-Julian-Poorman funeral Home, 304 North 5th street.
