Mrs. Gail Peace, 74, passed away Thursday at Baptist Village Retirement Communities after an extended illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County.
She was daughter of the late Harvey Strickland and Abbie Lou Hutto Strickland.
She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Dorothy Adams, Pauline Synder and Minnie Lee Smith.
She was a supervisor for Flash Foods and attended Pineview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Peace of Waycross;
2 sons, Harvey Peace (wife Fran) of Marianna, Florida,
Anthony Peace of Gaum;
2 Granddaughters, Charlie Nicole Kelly (husband Clinton) of Panama City, Florida
Holly Kristin Peace of Orlando, Florida;
3 Great Grandchildren, Noah Kelly, Gabe Kelly and Ellie Grace Kelly.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM, Sunday (August 13, 2017) at Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Hephzibah Cemetery.
Family will be receiving friends Sunday at the funeral home from 2:45 till 3:45 PM.
Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A funeral for Abbie Gail Peace took place Sunday afternoon in the Music Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ray officiating, with burial following in Hephzibah Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Buddy DeLettre, Ernie Drum, Archie Head, Ricky Clark Jr., Lamar Bennett and George Music.
