Dr. Alton Fannin will officiate at a Gathering of Remembrance in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 for Doris Christine Boley.

Doris was born to the late Pete and Francis (Woodcock) Madderra, on the 15th day of December, 1935 at the rural residence of her parents in Loves Valley, East of Marietta, Oklahoma. She passed from this life to life everlasting at the local hospital in Ardmore, Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at the age of 81 years 7 months and 24 days.

During her youth the family moved to Modesto, California and after a few years returned to Love County, where she had lived most of her life. Doris and Kenneth Boley were married July 4, 1954 at Gainesville, Texas. They celebrated their 63rd Anniversary this year.

A member of the First Baptist Church, Doris had worked at Weber Aircraft and also had an upholstery business for a few years. But most of all she enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her and Kenneth's two sons, Lawrence and Curtis.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two brothers, J. C. and Delbert Madderra.
