James Richard J.R. Brown, 86, Princeton, Mo., died July 7, 2008, at a Princeton nursing home.
James was born August 5, 1921, son of Roy Alva and Velma DeEtt (Richardson) Brown in Harris, Mo.
On April 3, 1947, J.R. was united in marriage to marilyn Joy Stanturf. She survives of the home.
Survivors including his wife, three sons, Stan Brown (Andrea), Bethany, Rick Brown, Princeton, Mo., and Terry Brown (Kelly), Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were July 10, at the Princeton First Christian. Burial in the Priceton Cemetery.
