W.J. Marriott, about 65, Mabank, father of Mrs. Roy Haynie of Athens, died in Mabank Saturday morning at 6 o'clock.
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Mabank. Interment was in the Mabank cemetery.
Mr. Marriott had been ill for some time.
In addition to Mrs. Haynie, he is survived by his wife; another daughter, Mrs. Jimmie Hogue of Oregon; four sons, George Marriott and Dub Marriott of Dallas, Leo Marriott of Houston and Cecil Marriott of Fort Worth; his father, who resides in Mabank and several grandchildren. All were at the bedside when Mr. Marriott died.
