Freeman Albert (Jerry) Hall, age 52, died Monday at his residence. Born in Rockbridge County, he was the son of Mrs. Bessie Staton Hall and the late Roy Freeman Hall. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Virginia Department of Highways. Surviving, besides his wife, Mary Ann Hall, Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Sutphin and Mrs. Connie Shelton, both of Statesville, N.C.; two sons, Larry F. Hall, Glasgow; Joe Hall, Statesville, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Davis, Mrs. Clara Higgins, Mrs Lonie Hostetter, all of Lexington; miss Bertie Hall, Rockbridge Baths, one brother, Danny Hall, Lexington; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jessie Blankenship, Rev. Richard Kingrea and Rev. John Savage officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:000 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Harrison Funeral Home.
