She was married to Cordas Lockerby on September 26th, 1921, and to this union were born two daughters, Anna May and Nina Lee, who, with the husband, survive her, and they with her father and mother, together with a number of other relatives, were constantly at her sick bed when the hand of death kindly touched her and she was at rest.
Besides her family she leaves to mourn her untimely death her father and mother, Otto Lycan and wife, and grandmother, Mrs. H. C. Lycan, and several uncles and aunts. Deceased grew to womanhood in Golconda, where she was beloved by all. During the five years that they made their home in St. Louis, she made many warm friends who called to see her during her last illness, which lasted for seven weeks, and did all in their power comfort and cheer to the suffering one. Sylvia was always a kind and loving wife and mother, and her devotion to her family makes their grief and bereavement very hard to bear.
Weep not for me my loved ones
