Robbie Lea Taylor passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017.

She was born on May 13, 1934 to C.H. and Robbie Finnie.

Robbie Lea met and married James “Jim” Taylor in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 2013.

Services will be held at the University Church of Christ, 115 Country Estates Dr. in San Marcos at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 25th.

Visitation will be held at the church before services at 10:00 am.

Interment to follow at the San Marcos City Cemetery.

Robbie Lea Taylor of San Marcos, TX passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017, at the age of 83.

Robbie Lea was born in the front bedroom of the little house on North Street on May 13, 1934 to C.H. and Robbie Finnie. She spent her childhood in San Marcos, graduating from San Marcos HS in 1952. She remained an active member of her graduating class and has maintained close relationships with several of her classmates. One of her greatest joys was helping plan her high school reunions.

Robbie Lea met and married James "Jim" Taylor in 1951. They were married for 62 years until Jim's passing in 2013. They were members of the University Church of Christ for many years, where Robbie enjoyed teaching the toddler Sunday school class.

She is survived by three children. Daughters Janet and husband, Bubba Fain of Rockwall, TX, Sheri and husband, Randall Sanders of Cypress, TX, and son, Jimmy Taylor of Dripping Springs as well as six grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ima Gene Magedson, brother-inlaw Marion Taylor and his wife Joyce and sister-in-law Naomi Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to Heart-to-Heart Hospice and Regent Care for their excellent care during her time with them. Services will be held at the University Church of Christ, 115 Country Estates Dr. in San Marcos at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25th. Visitation will be held at the church before services at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at the San Marcos City Cemetery.
