Loretta R. Stine: Former Orinoka Mills employee
Loretta R. Stine, 79, a former York resident who worked 28½ years for Orinoka Mills, died Monday in Eustis Manor Nursing Home, Eustis, Fla. She was the wife of Kenneth S. Stine, of 272B Hibiscus Drive, Leesburg, Fla.
The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Wm. J. Workinger Funeral Home Inc. 849 E. Market St. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Royal United Methodist Church, Old Carlisle Road, Dover, 17315.
Mrs. Stine was born in Hanover, the daughter of the late John and Lillie (Thorp) Shorb.
She was a member of Mount Royal United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Stine also is survived by three daughters, Geraldine Landis, York, Betty Ketterman, York, and Judy Sipe, York; two sons, Henry Unger Jr. and L. Ronald Unger, both of York; two stepsons, Kenneth Stine, Jacksonville, Fla., and Robert Stine, Casper, Wyo.; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; seven step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, J. Gordon Shorb, York, and Richard Shorb, Hanover.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev, John E. Lehr.
