FULTON - Bertha Mae Stewart Strode McGrone, 84, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A former native of Noxubee County, she was the daughter of Robert Lee Stewart and Sue Willie Stewart. She was an active and faithful member of Shiloh CME Church in Fulton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Shiloh CME Church with the Rev. Alice Robinson officiating. Interment will be in the Fulton Community Cemetery. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Strode Jr. and James (Jean) Strode, both of Fulton; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until service time today
