Lois B.Grabey, 92, of Lakeside, PA, was promoted to Glory on August 3, 2017. Annie Lois Browning Grabey was born October 12, 1924, the third of six children born to JW and Alma Browning in Jackson, GA. She was born, raised and married in the family homestead. Following her marriage, at age 19, she moved with her husband to PA, where he was beginning his pastoral ministry. Lois was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 70 years, Earl F Grabey, in 2015, a daughter, Lainey Grace (aka Phyllis Grabey), a grandson, James A Grabey, her sister, Ruth Peed, brothers William and James Browning, brother -in-law Langdon Peed, sisters-in-law Loretta Browning and Virginia Browning. She is survived by her son, Jerry Grabey, Philadelphia PA, her daughter Carol Galloway (Steve) Lakeside PA, and Harriet Cohen, Richardson TX, grandchildren, Kristen Blaisure (Kevin), Meredith Galloway Fizzell, (Ben) , Matthew Galloway (Whitney), Elizabeth Viliamas (Andrius), Carla Grabey, Regina Marie Grabey, great grandchildren, Kolton and Karley Blaisure, Ethan Viliamas,and soon to be born baby Fizzell, two loving sisters in GA, Mary Lester and Bettie O'Neal, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Browning, several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Lois was a social worker at the former River Meade Manor Nursing Home in Binghamton NY. She previously worked at Wilson Hospital and for Dupont. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Throughout their ministry years, they served together in three pastorates. In later years, they volunteered together at various churches and mission boards. She was a volunteer ombudsman for area agency on aging. She was active in her church, taught adult classes, and counseled and mentored many. She enjoyed keeping in touch with friends from former churches and her many missionary friends. She was loved and admired by many, and had a keen mind. She enjoyed doing word puzzles, and was a voracious reader. She looked forward to her frequent phone calls with her sisters. She attended Bob Jones University as a teen, where she met her husband. She later graduated from Elmira College in 1977.
