Judy Ellen (Bunting) Goodson, 58, of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on August 3, 2017. She was born on March 9, 1959 in Galveston, Texas to the late George Thomas Bunting and Ethel Delores (Fleming) Bunting. She had a very nurturing demeanor which made a good fit when she chose the profession of being a Registered Nurse. She was always willing to help care for others. She loved animals, crocheting, learning new things and was an avid reader. Judy’s grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved being “Maw Maw” to them and doting on them when she could. This loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend will be missed.

Judy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles Goodson; children, Ellen Binford and husband, Red, Charles Richard Goodson III; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Goodson, and Leslie & Wyatt Binford; siblings, Nan Middlebrooks and husband, Joe, Mike Bunting, and Richard Bunting and wife, Lenellen; along with extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Fieldstore Cemetery in Waller, Texas.

Pallbearers will include Red Binford, Shane Smart, Robert Shaw, Brad Fenn, Morris Woods, Matt Lober, Pat Drabek, and Eric Babnew.
