Word was received yesterday of the death Friday of Mrs. Hannah McCurdy, 79, of St. Louis, MO, where she went last summer to live with her son. Mr. McCurdy was a resident of Russell Park for 11 years. She was a member of the Russell Park Women's Club and the Civic Club. Her husband died here four years ago.
Surviving are her son, Jack McCurdy; a grandson, Jack McCurdy, Jr and other relatives in Illinois. Funeral services will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago Monday. (Fort Myers News-Press 3/1/59)
