He married Emily Carol Bell on September 18, 1971 and to this union one child was born.
He is survived by: his wife, Carol Jones; one son, Gavin Jones; and one grandchild, Kaitlynn Jones; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 between 5 – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Faith Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideon Memorial Bible Plan
