Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-9 a.m. Saturday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children: Don and his wife Beryle Fromm of Mesa, Ariz., Alice and her husband Dwight John Imker of Chanhassen, Ruth Warne of Minneapolis, Marie Curran of Plant City, Fla. Dolores and her husband Harney Wohnoutka of Bird Island, Tom and his wife Helen Fromm of Waukesha, Wis. and Doug and his wife Sharon Fromm of Brooklyn Park; 35 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and her sisters, Loretta Green of Tucson, Ariz. and Alice Owings of Mariposa, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; five sisters; her sons, Joseph and Linus; two grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Darrell Warne.
She was born Nov. 22, 1904, in Scribner, Neb. to Carl and Hermina (Grolig) Unzeitig. While growing up, Mary's family moved to Minnesota and lived in the Sleepy Eye area.
On June 9, 1925, she married Felix Fromm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Following their marriage, the couple lived in the Morgan area, and later lived in Sleepy Eye from 1952 to 1975. In 1975, Mary moved to Shakopee, and in 1992 to Osseo. She was a past member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.
