Linda Sharon Raines Edwards, 65, formerly of Birchleaf, VA, and lived in Blue Ridge, VA, gained her heavenly angel wings on Thursday, July 27, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Ollie Raines; two brothers Larry and Ronnie Raines; and a niece, Lisa Deel.

Left to cherish, is her husband of 45 years, Henry Edwards; son, Tim Raines, two daughters, Crystal Spence (Kevin), Alita Kender; five grandsons, Timothy Kender, Ryan Spence, Zach Raines, Christopher Kender, Tyler Spence (Grace); two great-grandsons, Liam and Owen Kender; one great granddaughter, Miley; Four sisters, Shirley Owens (Gary), Rita Wilson (Gary), Martha Deel, Sylvia Hill; one brother, Donnie Raines (Trish); numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

Mom loved her family and friends with her whole heart, and she wanted nobody to worry
about her.

We are all going to miss our mother, more than words can express. She left us too soon and without any warning. Go and prepare a place for us Mom, until we meet again, our sweet loving mother.

Her final resting place will at her family cemetery in Dickenson County.
