Romain Cain, 85, died Monday in Henry County Hospital after being ill the past 10 days.
A native of Henry County, he worked in the forge shop at Chrysler Corp 29 years before retiring in 1965. He attended Eighteenth Street Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Theda in 1953 and Esther in 1975.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Barbara Poynter, Joyce Booher and Linda Bennett; and a brother, Clarence.
