C. W. Brittain, 62, of 114 West Illinois, a long-time Dallas resident, died in a Dallas hospital Monday after a long illness.

Brittain, a native of Half Rock, Mo., was in the insurance business here. Survivors are his wife; a son, Tommy Brittain of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Grace Armstrong of Coffeyville, Kan., and a brother, W. C. Brittain of West Allis, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Beckley-Wynnewood Baptist Church. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
