OBITUARY:
Mrs. Rose Lee Howton, 86, of Ryderwood, died March 5 at a Longview hospital. Born July 24, 1875, in North Carolina, Mrs. Howton moved to Ryderwood from Pasco five years ago. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Kahlotus, Wash.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ada Buchanan of Ryderwood; two sons, George W. of Portland, and Ralph N. of Missoula, Mont.; a brother, Thomas G. Nelson of Spokane; nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at Pasco with the Bruce Lee Memorial Chapel there in charge. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery at Pasco. The Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel at Toledo is in charge of local arrangements.
