Kenneth A. Blyer, age 83, of Canton, OH, passed away Thursday afternoon in the emergency room at Aultman Hospital, following an extended illness. Born in Canton, on May 14, 1915, to the late Alfred and Bertha (Isler) Blyer. He was a retired accountant, retiring from WHBC in 1990. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Stark County Parkinson's Support Group and had been an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Delmar and Marvin Blyer; two sisters, Blanche West and Beryl Blyer; and daughter, Nancy Kay. Survivors include his wife, Verna (Royer) Blyer of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, ;a brother and sister-in-law.
