Lillie Etta Dotson, 85, widow of Ransom Roosevelt Dotson, Jr., died Thursday; July 27, 2017 at Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Rev. Raymond Edward and Evalena Wadlow Worley.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Spurlock, a brother, Walter Worley, and a grandson, Jonathan Webster.

Lillie was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Huntington, WV and she had been a Registered Nurse with the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, KY. She was a member of the Man O'War Church of God.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Ann (Byron) Revel of Lexington, KY, son, Ransom Edward (Sally) Dotson of Mt. Sterling, KY, three sisters, Wilma (Dallas) Moore of Huntington, WV, Inez (A.L.) Perkins of Lexington, KY, and Brenda Kennedy of Corbin, KY, six grandchildren, Anna Marie (Devin) Revel, Marsha Naomi (Tim) Kerdoff, Christian Nicole Dotson, Seth Collier Dotson, Kara Renee (Kevin) Jarzynski, and Roxanne Jo (Jordan) McCool, one great-grandchild, John Russell Kerdoff, brother-in-law, Merril Spurlock of Lexington, KY, and sister-in-law, Shirley Worley of Erlanger, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday; July 30, 2017 at 4:30 P.M. at the Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, in Nicholasville, KY with Rev. Dr. Derwood Perkins officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:30 P.M. until the time of the service on Sunday at the Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville.

A graveside service and burial will be held Monday; July 31, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dotson Family Cemetery at Ransom, KY.
