Beverly was outrageous, outlandish, loving, simple, complicated, down to earth, up on the moon and out of this world!

A former director of a Chicago women's shelter, Beverly made certain that women in the shelter got the protection and assistance they needed. It was an experience she never forgot, and she spoke out for women for as long as she had a voice.

She spent her work years mostly in the non profit sector and eventually ended up working for Delta Airlines in her last 10 years before retirement. While working at Delta, Beverly decided to buy a home in the city of East Point just outside of Atlanta. After her retirement, she just decided to be a DAMN YANKEE and stay! (Her own words,)and we are all so glad that she did!

She lived in many different city's around the USA and where she didn't live, she traveled to. Spain, Italy, Ireland and any country or city that would allow her in.

While in East Point, Beverly enjoyed many friends and volunteer activities getting involved with anything from East Point Family and Friends, The Southern Zodiac Chapter of the Red Hat Society, Toy Drives, City Festivals, M-C-ing Dog shows, Political campaigns, Activism and compassionate efforts.

Extremely liberal and not afraid to let the world and his brother know it. She was involved in many Civil Rights issues and marched during that era for equality. She was a Mother of two sons and a grandmother, a great grandmother and Great-Great Friend!
