Sister Marcia Duchaineau, 97, St. Joseph ST. JOSEPH Sister Marcia Duchaineau, 97, died Friday at St. Scholastics Convent, St. Cloud. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday at St. Benedict's Convent Chapel. Burial will be in the convent cemetery. Wake services will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Scholastica Convent and 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Benedict's Convent Chapel. Friends may call at St. Benedict's Convent Chapel after 7 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday. Sister Marcia Duchaineau was born Aug. 30, 1891, in Brainerd to Adrian and Emelia (Caron) Duchaineau. She entered St. Benedict's Convent July 10, 1911, made first vows July 11, 1912, and final vows July 11, 1915. She spent 56 years as a grade-school teacher at Holy Angela, St. Anthony's and St. Paul's, St. Cloud; St. Bernard's and St. Joseph's Orphanage, St. Paul; St. Benedict's Boys School, St. Joseph; and schools in Barnesville, Elrosa, Luxemburg, Duelm, Pierz, Richmond, and Winner, S.D. She retired in 1969. There are no survivors. She was preceded in death by one sister.
