Robert D. Montgomery, age 75, passed away on July 23, 2017. He was born in Owls Head, Maine to Floyd and Frances Montgomery on October 4, 1941. He is survived by his brother: Floyd (Sheila) Montgomery, Jr.; son: Robert J. Montgomery; granddaughters: Virginia Montgomery and Stephanie Talbert; great grandson; Waylon Montgomery along with two nieces and two nephews. He was an active member in the American Legion, AMVETS, VFW, and the Fleet Reserve. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 12:30 pm with an interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements
