Nina Kathleen Lyvers, 82, was born Mar. 5, 1913 in Fremont County to John H. and Eldora Hardesty Carman. She died Aug. 14, 1995 at Iowa City. She was married to Everett Lyvers Aug. 10, 1929. She was a homemaker and later worked in Shenandoah nurseries; at a care center and at Brandeis in Omaha. She was a member of Baptist Church American War Mothers and Rebekah Lodge. Her husband, two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Ritchey of Iowa City, Wanda Lyvers, Omaha; sons, Leon of Iowa City, John of Coralville, IA.; 15 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Graveside rites were held at Riverton Cemetery on Aug. 17 conducted by the Rev. Merle Melton. A grandson, Thomas Lyvers, was soloist Casket bearers were Bruce Jones, David Graham, Alan, Mathew, Thomas Lyvers and Rodney Graham. Shull Funeral service had charge.
