Shirley A. Gilliam was born on June 20, 1938 in Guerrant, Kentucky. She passed away on July 23, 2017.

Shirley lived most recently at Spring Hills Singing Woods of Dayton, Ohio.
Previously Shirley lived in Englewood, Ohio and was a long time resident of Kettering, Ohio. She grew up in South Lebanon, Ohio.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Willie J. Gilliam of Dayton, Ohio and her parents, Offutt Morris and Angeline Baily also of South Lebanon.
Shirley is survived by her children, Beverly Henderson Meyer (Danny), Roy Henderson (Le); step-children, Richard Henderson, Gwen Gilliam and Audrey Gilliam (Tracey) Ramey; as well as 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Shirley was a retiree of General Motors Truck and Bus in Moraine. Shirley will be missed by her friends, immediate and extended family who would like to express deep gratitude to the staff of Spring Hills Singing Woods for the care and kindness they shared with Shirley and her family.
