SHERRILL - Lyle D. Adams, 70, of 316 E. Hamilton Ave., a retired Rome Cable employee, died Saturday in Oneida City Hospital.
He was born in Rome. He married Malinda Hoy in Rome in 1920. He retired from Rome Cable in 1962 where he had worked in the rod mill department.
Mr. Adams attended the Oneida Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Catherine) Varylerski Mrs. James (Ruth) Bertella and Miss Mona Adams. Sherrill.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Alger-Hammill Funeral Home, Vernon. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vernon.
