All American censuses indicate that Albert was born in Germany and his death certificate indicates Baden, Germany, however, extended family member Michael Cummins (47193675) said that Albert was born in Bohemia (now Czech Republic) and that the family "emigrated from the Sudetenland in Austria-Hungary...now mostly in Bohemia, Czech Republic."
