Anita June Achord died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, in the comfort of her family. She was 75 and a resident of Denham Springs.
Visitation is at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, 21 July 8:30 AM-10:00 AM followed by religious services at 10:00 AM. Interment is in Evergreen Memorial Park.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Earl C. and Sheryl Achord Jr., Willie J. and Jane Achord and R. Jason Achord; two daughters and a son-in-law, Anita L. Achord and Rebecca A. and Jacob Kropog; and five grandchildren, Ashlee Achord, Josh Lusk, Jacob Achord, Jordyn Achord, and Earl C. Achord III.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Addie Parker; her husband Earl C. Achord Sr.; her sister Catherine Bankston, and a grandson, Calvin Lamman Tyler.
She was a loving mother and homemaker who was an avid gardener and loved fishing.
