Joseph H. Brewer, better known as J.H. was born February 8, 1936 in Jackson County and departed this life Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Hometown Manor in Georgetown, being 82 years of age. He was the son of the late Sam & Gracie (Maupin) Brewer.
J.H. is survived by three sons, Joe Brewer and his wife Charline of LaFollette, TN, Paul Brewer and his wife Karen of Florida and Ronnie Brewer of Georgetown. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Jane Winstead Jones of Berea and by two brothers, Sammie Brewer Jr. and his wife Shirley of Irvine and Lloyd Brewer of Florida. J.H. was blessed with six grandchildren, Austin, Aaron & Michael Brewer, Christine Carroll, Stephanie Bolton and Cody Pebley.
In addition to his parents, J.H. was also preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae (Sparks) Brewer; by a sister, Olga Allen and by six brothers, Dewey, Clifton, Lewis, Cecil, Clyde and Billy Paul Brewer.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Byrd officiating. Burial to follow in the Birch Lick Cemetery.
