James "Jim" G. Conger, 87, of Plainfield, passed away July 20, 2017. He was born October 5, 1929 to the late Wayne H. and Alta R. (Breedlove) Conger in Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the Plainfield Church Of Christ. He owned Conger's Finishing Service and Furniture and Antique Restoration for 30 years retiring in August of 1985. Jim is survived by his wife, Ruth A. (Long) Conger; a son, James C. (Nancy) Conger; two daughters, Julie (Edward) Goforth and Amy (Ken) Flajs; 7 grandchildren, Ben Conger, Aaron Conger, Jenna Burchett, Megan Gummer, Lucas Goforth, Lindsey Stevenson and Abby Hostettler; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Conger, a daughter, Jean Conger, and a brother, Willard Conger.
