Obituary - The Trinity Standard - Vol. XII, No. 46. Trinity, Trinity County, Texas. Friday Oct 28, 1938. Mrs. John Elliott passed away at the home of her brother, Tom Clark, near Lovelady, Tx., Friday morning at 5 o'clock, after a three day illness. Mrs. Elliott was born in Tennessee and came to Texas when she was a girl. She was buried Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Lewis, Miss Maybelle Clark. Five brothers, Tom, Ben, Floyd, Fred and Will all of Nevil's Prairie west of Lovelady. Two step sons George and Jim Elliott of Trinity. + more.
