Ventie K. Cline, 83, passed away on January 11, 2006 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2006 in Crestview Memorial Park with Charlie Thomason, Minister of Faith Village Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Ventie was born June 16, 1922 to Carl and Grace Dooley in Hillsboro, Texas. She married Elgin Cline on September 24, 1950 in Wichita Falls. Mrs. Cline was a homemaker and a charter member of Faith Village Church of Christ. She was actively involved in Bible correspondence courses and she was a volunteer at the Sonshine House. Ventie also enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Cline was preceded death by her husband Elgin Cline in 1993. She is survived by 4 children, Ira Gale Gunnell, Debbie Liberty, Jan Clement, and Byron Cline and wife Gayle, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Kathy Anders, Billy Wayne Stephens, Derek Moran, Daren Ross, Kristen Wellington, Jennifer Thompson, Cathy Sharp, Chase Cline, Kit Baldwin and Laura Cline; and 8 great grandchildren.
