Obituary for Ella Myrtle Enlow Coburn

Abilene Reporter News Sunday Morning October 16, 1960
"Mrs. Coburn Rites Today"
"Haskell--Funeral for Mrs. Hugh Coburn, 76 will be held at 3:30pm Sunday at the Haskell Church of Christ. The minister, Jim Pennington, Otta L. Johnson, minister of the Baird Church of Christ, and Doyle Maynard, minister of Rule Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will be in Willow Cemetery with the Holden Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Coburn died at 5:58 a.m. Friday at the McKnight State Sanatorium near San Angelo after suffering a heart attack.
She had been in failing health for some time and wat taken to the sanatorium Thursday.
Born Myrtle Enlow on Jan. 8, 1884, at Bryson, she married Mr. Coburn on Jan. 4, 1905.
They came to Haskell in 1915. Mr. Coburn wa the chief engineer with the West Texas Utilities plant here at the time of his death in 1932.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. M. E. Trice of Rule and Mrs. R. N. Culbert of Fort Worth: three sons, Austin of Haskell (the county auditor of Haskell County), Vernon of Long Beach Calif. and Wayne of Stockton, Calif.: and 10 grandchildren.
