Tis with sadness we chronicle the death of Mrs. Bloss Cooly (Cooley) which occurred Tuesday, Nov. 25th aged 38 years, 1 month and six days. Mrs. Cooly (Cooley) was the daughter of Eld. A. B. Lipp and had spent her entire life in this vicinity. She had been a faithful member of the Baptist church for a number of years and throughout her fifteen years of suffering had never been known to murmur. Her religion was something beautiful, she never tired of talking of it, and even the meanest skeptic could not help but say that it was something more than human power that buoyed her up.

The remains were laid in the Lipp cemetery Thursday, and though the inclemency of the weather made it very disagreeable there was a large crowd assembled. Eld. Caine conducted the funeral services. Mrs. Cooly (Cooley) leaves a father, mother, four sisters, a brother, a husband, seven children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. To the sorrowing we can only say, she has fought a good fight, she has finished the work that was given her to do, she was gone now to enjoy the reward so nobly earned.

Oh, death where is thy sting. Oh, grave where is thy victory.
