George F. Brooks, 35, of Hillside Dr., Bloomingdale, who suffered a heart attack in his home Sunday, died Monday night in St. Joseph Hospital, Paterson.

Mr. Brooks was employed at the [Stringfeld?] Engineering Co., Riverdale. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Butler Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Brooks was born in Pleasantville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brooks, of [Bargaintown].

A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Butler. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler. Friends may call at the funeral home at 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, after 3 p.m. today.

Surviving are his parents, his widow, the former Edna Struble; one son, Steven; two daughters, Judith Ann and Nancy Jane; one brother, James, of Hollywood, Fla., and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Mabel) Donaldson, of Pleasantville.
