Charles, 92, Greenville, died at State of the Heart Care Center.

He was the son of Harold and Dorothy (Doxtator) Drake, Sr. He married Barbara Snook, who survives in Greenville.

Also surviving are four children: Denise Marie Drake, Las Vegas, NV, Shannon Marie (Dave) Shepard, Elida, Charles William (Roxanne) Drake, Jr., Orion, MI, and John David Drake, Cridersville; a sister, Ruth Ann (Bill) Evertt, Hartford, MI; and eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter, Sandra JoAnn Engle; stepdaughter, Barbara Anne Kelley; a brother, Harold Arthur Drake, Jr.; and a sister, Gertrude Bell Veilik.

He served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy and U. S. Air Force. He was a life member of the Greenville VFW and a member of the Southwest Ohio Radio Club. Charles was a retired truck driver for Badger Trucking of Wisconsin.

A Celebration of Life service will be at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery with full military honors being conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
