"MIDLAND-Mrs. Rose (Cunningham) Byrne, 70, died early this morning at her home here. A daughter of the late John and Mary Anne (Murphy) Cunningham, she was the widow of Timothy Byrne. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Mary Dilfer, of here; a son, William Byrne, La Vale; a sister, Mrs. Anne Coleman, of here, and two brothers, Hugh and Michael Cunningham, both of here. A requiem mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church by Rev. John Buckley, pastor. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Frostburg. The body will be at the residence this evening. The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p. m."
