He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Margaret (Rainey) Ferguson; maternal grandparents, Faye and Beverly Wood; uncles, Daryl R. Ferguson, Douglas T. Ferguson, Patrick Wood and Michael Wood; aunt, Diana C. Ferguson; cousin, Anthony Riley.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Jeremy DeSpain; uncle Danny Ferguson (Anna); aunts, Darla Schildknecht, Cecelia Wood, Mary Donaldson, and Alexandria Riley; great-aunt, Barbara Montemayor; significant friend, Candice Kerns; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
